I am very proud to announce I will be taking part in Spoke Art Gallery’s March exhibition, “In Dreams: an art show tribute to the films of David Lynch” – opening Saturday March 8th 2014.

Featuring over 50 painters, print makers and illustrators from around the world, all paying homage to one of the greatest living film directors.

Opening night reception: Saturday, March 8th 2014.

In my print “In Dreams, David Lynch” I made subtle reference to Milton Glaser’s portrait of Bob Dylan with my treatment of Mr. Lynch’s hair.  I slanted the tonality of this portrait toward monochrome to reflect David Lynch’s groundbreaking early black and white films Eraserhead and The Elephant Man. I made this choice to refer, not only to David Lynch’s legendary and iconographic status as a cultural oracle, but also as homage to Mr. Glaser and to my artistic roots in rock’n’roll printmaking.

Chuck Sperry’s poster art is in an exhibition as part of La Fete du Graphisme sponsored by the French Government and the City of Paris. The exhibition entitled “Gig Posters : 150 affiches underground américaines contemporaines” is at Les Docks Cité de la Mode et du Design, 34 Quai d’Austerlitz, 75013 Paris, and brings together artists from the underground movement.

Highlighted ocean habitats will include coral reefs, open ocean, deep sea, hydrothermal vents, the Southern Ocean, sea mounts, kelp forests, sea grass beds, estuaries, sea shores, mangroves and salt marshes.

Featuring new original artworks from 14 of today’s top and most sough-after contemporary artists including Curiot, Kozyndan, Chuck Sperry, Nosego, Munk One, James Eads, Dabsmyla, Dan Mumford, James Flames, Max Dalton, Joshua Budich, Craig Drake, Tim Doyle and Marko Manev – together we aim to save our seas through the power of art and imagination.

For collectors who already know they want the entire HOME suite of 14 prints, they are offering 35 complete, matched-numbered sets for sale for a limited time. The Goodfoot in Portland, Oregon is proud to announce that “The Art of Musical Maintenance 10″ is open until Jan 27th. Goodfoot is displaying the newest installment of their annual show of music posters from around the country. The artists in this show are as diverse as the music. Likewise, the artist’s techniques vary as well (from hand drawn to computer generated design). There are over 40 artists from around the country, and around 300 framed posters.
