As an interesting aside, as an artist, I have often come across moments when the images I create come to life. This synchronicity has happened with the latest presentation of my Sakura screen print. If you look behind the geisha in my Widespread Panic New Years Eve in Atlanta poster from 2013, you will see that she is seated in front of a tsuitate screen, which is hidden by a drapery that has the same pattern as my new Sakura print. I like to think that such connections reveal that I am somehow on the right path, and that the world is unfolding correctly, though perhaps not in the usual sequence of time.

For this solo exposition at Next Door, Chuck Sperry presents, not only his limited edition muses printed on oak panels, but also some of his best known screen printed rock concert posters, and also a number of rarities and surprises. A new paper print edition will be revealed and made available for the occasion.
