I will be making a very limited online release of my Artist Edition of 125 – Variants in small edition – on Sunday March 15, 2020 at a random time.
I want to welcome a lot of newcomers to my site! I’ll quickly explain how my releases on my website are conducted. The Umphrey’s McGee posters will be available, right here, in this post on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at a random time. A paypal “Buy Now” button will appear under the poster (above) at a random time, and I will announce the price of the poster at the same time. (There may be additional offers or surprises – perhaps variants – revealed at that random time.) Good luck to everyone, and as always, I am very appreciative of your support!
I was asked (appropriately enough) to make the Umphrey’s McGee poster for their Iceland show. I had been to Iceland recently, and had very much fallen in love with the country and its people. I wanted to portray an elven spirit for the poster, wearing the north star upon her brow, turning toward the viewer – body in profile, head full on – gesturing with kindness to her heart. As you know, I am fond of nature spirits and goddesses. Iceland is a mythic land peopled by Huldufólk and supernatural beings that appeal to my imagination. Elves, trolls, hidden people and water spirits appear in dreams, and visions, or cross the corner of the eye in Iceland. Many believe in them there.
I am just learning that this show will be rescheduled (in the media). These posters are finished, and will be sold as they are (as the band did Monday – before announcing the show rescheduling). There will not be a version done (by me) when the new dates are arrived at.
