Grinderman rocked it tonight! Nick Cave was so good. The band has an undefinable sound. The only word to use to describe it is: excellent. I was led into the dressing room to show the poster to Nick Cave, and his reaction was, “Wow! That’s beautiful.” Told Cave the image was based on “Heathen Child” and showed him her Eye of Horus make-up, and he cracked a smile and said, “Right on.” Great night!
I printed this with Eye-Fry deluxe, hitting the red two times to make it extra rich. The background metallic is a beautiful blend from blue-silver to green-silver.

The poster looks fantastic. Pity I can’t agree with you on how good the show was. Yes, the music was distinctively Grinderman and it what there was of it was good.
However the show was brutally short. Less than 90 minutes on stage. We were outside The Warfield by 10:30pm. On the first Grinderman tour the show was stretched by some long instrumentals and some Bad Seeds tracks. This time there was no such extras so it was a very short show.
The people leaving were very quiet. Very unusual for an SF show and showing how people were feeling short-changed.

Got one off eBay, somebody has 4 of them.
The photo’s don’t do justice to the printing. Superb. The red against the metallics just pop.
I wish the money I spent on eBay had gone to Chuck but I’m happy to finally get my hands on this poster.
