The inspiration is Hespera – associated with the golden light of the setting sun and the evening star – one of the Hesperides, the nymphs of the western-most islands and guardians of the golden apples.
My newest print for Gary Clark Jr. on my press and coming together through my hands. Yes, this machine fights alienation. Producing my art through every step of the process connects me to myself, to this world of things, and to you, my friend. I’d never choose another way.
