I’m very happy to announce, my Fourth Annual Open House at Hangar 18 Studio Gallery on Sunday, June 4 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Let’s get together for a celebration! This is a great opportunity to visit the print studio that gave birth to some of your favorite posters for your favorite bands.

I’ll be making a Jerry Garcia art show of my art prints made especially for the Jerry Garcia Estate. Also an exclusive showing of my art prints on oak panel, with some special prints, rarities, and surprises available!

Dead & Company will be playing Shoreline in The Bay Area the same weekend. David Welker has a solo show at Spoke Art Gallery on Saturday.

Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love with a cool poster art show at my studio.

We will be giving people random numbers at the door at 10:00 am, so overnight camping is not encouraged!

 

I will have the brand, new book, “Helikon, The Muses of Chuck Sperry” on sale as well.

Chuck Sperry’s new book “Helikon” gathers together his masterfully screen printed wood panel series of contemporary-classical muses: work inspired by the spirit of the modern rock poster, graffiti, and the utopian ethos of 1960’s psychedelia.

“Helikon” presents 36 sumptuously photographed Sperrys paired with the prose or poem — from Homer to Nick Cave — that inspired each. Over a  dozen photos by Shaun Roberts give the reader an intimate portrait of the artist at work.
